Guide For Success
The establishment of a new state coalition requires time, effort, money, and commitment among other things. In order to facilitate the successful launching of a coalition, the Education and Best Practices Committee has created a guide. All of our state coalitions can avail themselves of this resource. The "Guide For Success" is divided into multiple sections, each containing successful practices on many topics. The practices are ones that have been submitted by our members and compiled by the Education and Best Practices Committee in the expectation that in a collaborative effort we can all learn from one another, encourage one another, and support one another.
The specific topics covered in the "Guide For Success" are:
- Organization of a Board of Directors
- Funding
- Awareness
- Under Utilized, Under Served
- Assistance for Prostate Cancer Patients
- Leadership Training for Support Group Leaders

The Education and Best Practices Committee is an on-going committee of the NASPCC. We are continuously reaching out to our members for successful practices that can be shared with all state coalitions. Any state leader/representative wising to submit ideas to the Committee can do so by contacting Mona Ervin at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
