- Additional items have been added to the advocacy pages for the Thomas J. Manton Prostate Cancer Act.
This bill has been sent to appropriate House and Senate Committees. The quickest way to get these to the floor for voting is to have as many co-sponsors as possible. To assist in this effort, several new links have been added to the advocacy web page. It now contains links to the Library of Congress summaries of these bills, including the list of co-sponsors. Also included are links to the House and Senate Committees to which these bills have been referred. These links include listings of the committee members. In addition to the sample letter, a link to a sample fax urging members to sign on as co-sponsors has also been included.

- This page contains the first action item in these new advocacy pages. The Thomas J. Manton Prostate Cancer Early Detection and Treatment Act of 2007 adds Prostate Cancer to the public law that made the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection and Treatment programs possible. These federal and state funded programs currently provide screening and treatment for about 500,000 women annually. Passage of this bill will put Prostate Cancer on a more equal footing.
Normal access to these pages will be by clicking on the "Advocacy" tab on the top line of every NASPCC web page and then on the appropriate item in the resulting list.

- Events
- This section will contain reports from significant events attended by NASPCC representatives. Currently it contains only the report from the 2006 ASCO/ASTRO/SUO/PCF PROSTATE CANCER SYMPOSIUM which was formerly under the "What is New" hot button on the home page.
- Press Releases
- This section will contain NASPCC press releases. It currently contains the Screening Guidelines press release which was formerly under the "News" tab.
