Sponsorships
The NASPCC offers a number of exciting opportunities for corporate sponsorship and support. Our benchmark programs include our annual meeting, and sponsorship to support the development of new coalitions and the evolution of existing coalitions.
Donations
There are many ways in which your donations can help us to meet our goals regarding prostate cancer and assist us financially in the development and support of state prostate cancer organizations. These coalitions network prostate cancer support groups in the states, advocate in the state legislatures, and improve the quality of life for men and their families with prostate cancer.
Memorial gifts are especially recognized by the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions. If you would like to make a donation in honor of, or in memory of someone, please let us know. We will send an appropriate Tribute Card acknowledging the fact of your donation and the name of the person being so honored. This is a special way to pay tribute to someone while at the same time helping NASPCC achieve its goals in the fight against prostate cancer.
You may also donate unused airline miles to assist state coalition members in participating in the development of new state prostate cancer coalitions.
You may send a check made payable to "The National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions" or "NASPCC" and send it to the following address:

Best Practices
Early Detection, Treatment and Care
The National Alliance of Prostate Cancer Coalitions has adopted the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Prostate Cancer Best Practices Guide as its official guide regarding prostate cancer early detection, treatment, and care. The NCCN is the premier organization in the U.S. focused on supporting high quality evidence-based cancer care. The guide can be accessed here on the NCCN website.
Those accessing the guide must comply with the following language from NCCN: Access to the guide is governed by this legal language provided by NCCN: “Linked with permission from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Inc. © 2015 All rights reserved. To view the most recent and complete version of the NCCN Guidelines for Patients®, go online to NCCN.org.”
Informed Decision Making
NASPCC has joined with the California Prostate Cancer Coalition (CPCC) to develop best practices for informed decision making criteria for screening, treatment and quality of life options. CPCC has developed an Informed Decision Making laminate that incorporates those criteria and is designed to help men and their doctor with the informed decision making process. The laminate can be accessed here on the CPCC website.
Other Best Practices

Education
Build your knowledge base through webcasts and educational conferences. Use this link to find recommended reading materials and past conference presentations.
If your state has not already established a state prostate cancer coalition, we can help! The NASPCC offers a 1½ day presentation and coalition formation meeting to bring together the identified stakeholders in your state, envision the direction of your state's prostate cancer coalition, and help with items such as developing your coalition's Mission Statement, Goals and Objectives. We furnish notebooks to the meeting participants with examples of Articles of Incorporation and sample by-laws, provide advice on how to form a 501(c)(3) organization, and post meeting assistance to help with maintaining momentum, answering questions, and keeping your new coalition on track.
State coalitions are expected to show significant progress toward four items listed below. New NASPCC state coalitions are set up with these expectations in place.
- Support Early Detection.
- Participate in Patient Education.
- Develop Statewide Network for Communication, i.e. e-mail/phone trees.
- Participate in National NASPCC activities, requests and tasks.
